FAQ

Where is my TasteMap data stored?

Your TasteMap records are stored on your device. If iCloud is enabled for TasteMap, app records may also sync through your private iCloud account so they stay up to date across your devices.

Does TasteMap collect analytics or show ads?

No. TasteMap does not run analytics, show ads, use tracking SDKs, or sell your data.

Can I back up or move my data?

Yes. TasteMap includes export and import tools so you can save a backup file or move your data to another device.

Why are some dishes or countries missing?

TasteMap includes a large catalog, but food data is always growing. Email us the dish name, country, and any useful details so we can review it.

How do I restore a purchase?

Use Restore Purchases in the app's premium screen while signed in with the Apple Account that made the purchase. If it still does not appear, contact us with a screenshot of the error.
